Gainesville police release photo of suspect who robbed restaurant

Investigators with the Gainesville Police Department are asking the public to help them identify a man who robbed a restaurant on Thompson Bridge Road over the weekend.
 
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Hibachi Express.
 
The suspect, described as a black male, 5'10" tall with a skinny build, entered the business brandishing a black handgun. The suspect confronted the clerk and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. He ran from the restaurant after the crime. The clerk was not injured. 
 
At the time of the hold-up, the suspect was wearing a gray track jacket, sweat pants, a Polaroid t-shirt, black shoes with white soles and a surgical facemask.
