Posted 12:31PM on Thursday 10th December 2020 ( 4 years ago )

The Coronavirus pandemic again is affecting government operations in Banks County.

“There have been multiple cases of COVID at the courthouse annex,” said Banks County Clerk Jenni Gailey.

Gailey said Banks County Government offices are open during regular hours, but with limited staff.

“We will monitor the number of persons allowed in any office at any given time until further notice,” Gailey said.

For more information, residents needing to conduct business can call the department in advance or can call (706) 677-6200 with questions.

Additionally, a planned event to mark the opening of Banks County Fire/EMS Station 25, originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18, has been postponed.
