DACULA, Ga. (AP) Police in Gwinnett County have released surveillance video in an attempt to find the man responsible for punching a 76-year-old man inside a grocery store.

Gwinnett County police released the images Monday from the Jan. 23 incident at a grocery store in Dacula, news outlets reported.

The older man told news outlets he saw some people parked in the fire lane and told them they weren't supposed to park there before walking inside the store. The video shows a man walk up behind him and punch him from behind. The assailant then left the store.

Police obtained the tag number from the vehicle involved and interviewed two women at the address associated with the license plate, WXIA-TV reported. One woman told police the man was her daughter's boyfriend. The other woman said she "claimed she only knew her boyfriend for a few months. However, he is the father of her daughter who is about to turn 3 years old," the police report stated.
