Charges have now been filed in a deadly motorcycle accident that happened Friday, March 27 in northern Gwinnett County.

Police investigators said 20-year-old Natalie Merizalde of Lawrenceville has been charged with second degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while turning left in the crash that killed Robert Boren of Suwanee.

Boren was traveling straight on Collins Hill Road just before 6 p.m. when Merizalde tried to make a left turn onto Russell Road. Her Honda Accord struck Boren and he was ejected from the motorcycle. Boren was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Neither Merizalde nor the passenger in her vehicle were injured.
