A Dahlonega woman was killed when she lost control of her vehicle Monday night on Kelly Bridge Road in Dawson County.
Cpl. Travis S. Sanders with Georgia State Patrol Post 37 in Cumming said troopers were called to the scene around 10:15 p.m.
"The investigation revealed that Nicole Amber Moss, 40, of Dahlonega was traveling west on Kelly Bridge Road when she lost control of the 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that she was driving," Sanders wrote in a press statement."The vehicle traveled off of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree."
Sanders said Moss was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. She died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.
