Local distance runners in Georgia are lucky they can still get outside and exercise. But with events canceled across the state due to the COVID-19 pandemic, runners have become creative in finding ways to stay in shape.

AccessWDUN's Seth Chapman sits down with several area runners to discuss COVID-19's shutdown of competition across the state and country, and how they are working out.

It's Part One of the series, Running Alone.

"As of right now, in Georgia, we can still get outside and exercise," Randy Allen said. "There are places in the world that can't. That is just incredibly hard. I'm in contact with people throughout the world and they can't get outside. I've seen people running around the couch making loops just to move. It's been hard."
