The developer of a 350-unit apartment complex in the Braselton area will take a rezoning request before the Hall County Planning Commission on Monday, May 4, 2020.

Rochester & Associates will ask members of the planning board to rezone nearly 31-acres of property on Thompson Mill Road near Spout Springs Road from Agricultural-Residential-IV (AR-IV) to Planned Residential Development (PRD).

According to the application, Braselton Commons will be a gated community with 13 residential buildings, a clubhouse, a swimming pool and passive park areas. The individual apartments will feature one, two and three bedroom floor plans, and buildings will have a maximum height of three stories plus a basement. The site plan indicates there will be one entrance to the development.

The application said the project is slated for completion in 2022 once the planning commission and the Hall County Commission give their approval to the rezoning.
