The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday the development of a free app that is now available for download.
Deputy Shannon Volkadov said the app allows users to receive alerts and notifications from the Sheriff's Office, and includes multiple other features.
"We're excited to announce the new GCSO app is available for free download on iPhone and Android platforms," Volkadov said in a release announcing the news. "We encourage the community to share this information with family and friends so they can enjoy the benefits of this free service provided by Sheriff Butch Conway."
The app's features include:
- Inmate searches
- Jail information
- Wanted suspects
- Tip line
- Push notifications/alerts
- Local sex offender search
- Local and national COVID-19 information
To download the app, search "Gwinnett County Sheriff: on either the Apple App Store or Google Play.
