UPDATE: Missing Lawrenceville woman found safe

Gwinnett police say a Lawrenceville woman was found safe Wednesday evening, several hours after being reported missing

Eat Uy, 83, was found "at the front of her neighborhood," according to  a 9 p.m. update from the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Gwinnett County authorities are asking for the public's help in locating an elderly Lawrenceville woman who went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Eat Uy, 83, was last seen around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday after leaving her home on Addies Place to take a walk. Described as an Asian female by the Gwinnett County Police Department, Uy is said to need constant access to medical attention.

"She was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt with white pants and brown shoes," said Gwinnett Police Cpl. Collin Flynn. "Uy is approximately 5’02 in height and 105 pounds."

Police believe Uy is possibly still on foot in the area, and ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the police department immediately.

"If anyone has any information to share in this case, please contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300," Flynn said.
