Flowery Branch City Hall reopens after COVID-19 outbreak

After being closed for a week following reported cases of coronavirus among staff members, Flowery Branch City Hall has reopened to the public.
 
City Clerk Vickie Short confirmed Monday, July 13 that the building and staff offices are open once again.
 
Short did not indicate how widespread the outbreak was.

Flowery Branch has closed all of its city offices after what officials describe as a COVID-19 outbreak among staff members.
 
There was no specific information about how many employees tested positive for the virus.

All employees are teleworking and even though staff is working from home, all departments are available to customers by phone or online, according to information posted on the Flowery Branch website.
