The folks in Dawsonville, Georgia have been hunting for a nickname for hometown hero Chase Elliott.  Maybe a good candidate now would be "King of the Road" after winning his third straight NASCAR Cup Series road race.

On this week's Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed, Pete McCole and Amy Henderson take a look at Sunday's historic Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway, along with other news items, including:

-Chase Elliott held off Denny Hamlin to score his second win of the NASCAR Cup Series season in the series first outing on the Daytona infield road course.

-Martin Truex, Jr. had one of the few cars that appeared to have anything for Elliott, but a pit road speeding penalty derailed his strong run, leaving him third in the end.

-Kaz Grala scored a seventh place finish after sitting in the No. 3 Chevy after driver Austin Dillon tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

-Kyle Busch had one of his best runs of the season going - until the wheels came off late.

-We preview the upcoming 104th running of the Indianapolis 500.

Plus, we'll have a look at the upcoming double header weekend at Dover International Speedway,
