After being on the run for almost three months, a suspect is behind bars for the murder of a Norcross man.
The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office arrested Jose Aldo Sanchez-Vazquez on Aug. 13 in connection with the May 24 shooting death of Richard St. John.
At the time of the shooting the 70-year-old St. John was outside his home on Brittany Way in Norcross. Authorities said the shooting occurred in front of family members who were at the home for a family gathering.
Sanchez-Vazquez faces charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Authorities said they believe the murder was gang-related.
