Two female occupants were ejected from a vehicle and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries last night following a single car crash in southern Hall County.
According to a report from the Georgia State Patrol, the incident took place around 8 p.m. The two occupants were traveling east on Blackjack Road in a Toyota Highlander when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve.
The Highlander went off the shoulder of the road, struck a ditch and utility pole before overturning and coming to a stop on the driver’s side.
Neither of the occupants were wearing their seatbelt; both were ejected and pinned under the vehicle.
The status of the occupants is unknown. Names will be released following further investigation.
