GAINESVILLE — East Hall controls its own destiny.
The 45-29 win over Chestatee -- third win over the War Eagles this season -- on the road on Tuesday pushed the Lady Vikings (12-6, 3-3 Region 8-4A) into a tie with Flowery Branch for the fourth spot in Region 8-4A, although the Lady Falcons beat East Hall earlier this season.
Alexis Burce poured in 16 points to pace the Lady Vikings, and Carly Campbell added 14.
Now, the Lady Vikings face the toughest part of their schedule, with Class 4A No. 1 ranked Jefferson twice, and the region's No. 2 team, North Oconee two times, Madison County once and Flowery Branch to end the season on Feb. 12.
The Lady Vikings will begin the region gauntlet on Saturday when they play host to North Oconee. Game time is set for 4 p.m.

Averie Jones scored 16 points and Isabel Davenport added 12 to lead the Lady Indians (16-4, 7-1 Region 7-3A) past North Hall (6-13, 4-5 Region 7-3A) on the road Tuesday.
Makenzie Caldwell Mary Mullinax and Lexi Pierce scored 7 points each in the win.

HABERSHAM CENTRAL 36
Ava Grace Watson scored 13 points in the Lady Wolves (16-0, 7-0 Region 8-6A) win over Habersham Central on Tuesday.
Ashyia Willis added 10 points and Sara Viti had 9.

The Lady Leopards (14-9, 1-3 Region 8-2A) had three in double figures to sprint past Union County (2-6, 0-2 Region 8-2A) and pick up their first region win at home on Tuesday.
Carley Segars led the way with 14 points. Addison Hoard and Kalyn Beasley added 12 points each.
JEFFERSON 62,
FLOWERY BRANCH 50
Livi Blackstock and Allianne Clark combined for 29 points to lead the No. 1 ranked Lady Dragons (15-3, 7-0 Region 8-4A) over Flowery Branch (5-11, 3-3 Region 8-4A) at home on Tuesday.
Blackstock scored 17 and Clark had 12 points. Deshona Gaither chipped in 10 points.
