Under Georgia's new voting law, there must be two mandatory Saturday voting days during the early voting period.

The Saturday voting dates for the Nov. 2, 2021 municipal elections are Oct. 16 and Oct. 23, tomorrow and next Saturday.

In Hall County, municipal elections are being held in the cities of Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Gillsville and Lula. Each city has a specified precinct for early voting - and those precincts will be used for Saturday voting, as well. Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As of Thursday evening, a total of 166 in-person votes had been cast in the four cities in Hall County. Follow this link to see daily vote totals.

The new state law also allows Sunday voting days during the advance voting period, but Sunday voting is optional. There is no Sunday voting scheduled in Hall County for this election cycle. Larger counties - such as Fulton and Dekalb - are using Sunday voting for the 2021 municipal election cycle.

Voting hours may be different in other counties, so voters should check with their own county's elections office for up-to-date voting information.
