A Flowery Branch man was killed and a Buford woman was seriously injured following a two-vehicle accident in South Hall County on Saturday, Dec. 11.

The Georgia State Patrol said the deadly crash occurred around 12:15 p.m. on Spout Springs Road just south of Williams Road.

Troopers who investigated the crash said Mary Angela Bell, 39, of Buford was driving south on Spout Springs Road when she crossed the centerline into the northbound lane. Bell's vehicle struck a minivan being driven by Mark Andrew Cohen, 54, of Flowery Branch.

Both Cohen and Bell were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Cohen died as a result of his injuries.
