A new website dedicated to tracking developments and events involving Hall County's Highlands to Islands Trail went live to the public this week.
The website was launched in hopes of keeping users updated on any trail-related news, and will include features such as updated maps, scheduled calendar events and user account personalization.
“This website is part of the continued partnership between Hall County, the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, and the cities of Flowery Branch, Gainesville and Oakwood,” said Marty Nix, Assistant Hall County Administrator in an email sent out midday Friday. “It will serve as a valuable tool for citizens as work continues on this multi-jurisdictional trail network.”
