Those interested in law enforcement careers will get the chance to learn more at the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office’s upcoming job fair Saturday, April 10.
The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the training center located at 1677 Scenic Drive in Toccoa. According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, light refreshments and finger foods will be served and the event will take place rain or shine.
Applications for both deputy sheriff and jailer positions will be accepted during the job fair. Attendees will be able to review pay and benefits packages with Sheriff’s Office administrators and agency members will be on hand to answer any questions.
Agency members will be also showcasing the various career paths offered and demonstrating some of the common training and technology used on the job throughout the event.
