Construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will install a single lane closure on I-985 southbound beginning Friday.
The closure will allow for continued bridge rehabilitation construction on the bridge over SR 60/Queen City Parkway, which is expected to be complete by November. The lane closure will last from 8 p.m. Friday, April 16 through 6 a.m. Monday, April 19.
According to a release from the Georgia Department of Transportation, motorists will experience delays when traveling through the project at the SR 60/Queen City Parkway interchange and should reduce their speed, stay alert and watch for workers.
