Two Gainesville men have been arrested in connection with a couple of entering autos cases in a neighborhood off Browns Bridge Road.

Frank Domingo Pascual and Flavio Eduardo Duarte, both 21, were arrested Sunday morning, May 16, on Whispering Pines Drive, according to Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Derreck Booth.

"Both men ran on foot when [deputies] arrived," Booth said in an email statement. "Deputies found Duarte first...and found Pascual a short time later.  Each man was arrested in the same area where the crimes occurred."

Booth said Duarte refused commands to get on the ground, and he was tackled by a deputy during the course of the arrest.

Both men have been charged with two counts of entering an auto to commit a theft and with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Duarte also faces charges of obstruction of an officer and probation violation.

At last check, both men remained in the Hall County Jail.
