If the weather cooperates this week, crews with the Georgia Department of Transportation will be working in the area of the bridge on Browns Bridge Road (SR 369) over Lake Lanier.

The work will mean single-lane closures from Tuesday, June 1 through Friday, June 4 between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The project length is approximately 0.805 mile long. This closure will be between mile post 19 in Forsyth County to mile post 1 in Hall County.

The contractor will install MS4 structures to will help control and filtrate stormwater runoff. Crews will also continue paving and grading operations while removing the existing bridge. The entire project is expected to be complete by the end of June.
