Darlington could not have come at a better time for Denny Hamlin, as his first win of the season moves him forward in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at the news coming out of Sunday's race at the track "Too Tough To Tame", including:

-Hamlin held off Kyle Larson to score his third career Southern 500 victory on Sunday night.

-The "Lady In Black" was very mean to several Playoff contenders, including three of the four Hendrick Motorsports teammates.

-It was a classic Darlington race, with the old track already having repurcussions in the Playoffs after serving as opener.

-Kyle Busch had a very bad night, followed by a bad Tuesday as he was hit with a fine for reckless driving in the garage area.

Plus, we'll preview Saturday night's race at Richmond Raceway.

WDUN will carry live MRN Radio coverage of the NASCAR race day at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, starting with the NASCAR Xfinity Series Go Bowling 250 at 2 pm on 102.9 FM and streaming live on AccessWDUN.  Coverage continues Saturday night with the NASCAR Cup Series Federated Auto Parts 400 Salute to First Responders beginning at 6 pm on 102.9 FM, AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN.
