Four people from Habersham County have been arrested following an eight month long drug investigation.
According to a press release from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, 12 ounces of methamphetamine and a pound and a half of marijuana were recovered as evidence.
The four suspects were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 25. Their names and charges include:
- Shannon Lynn Wade, 38, of Demorest, charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Gary Paul Stratton, 22, of Demorest, charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Gabriel Bevers, 26, of Mt. Airy, charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute
- Chelsey Hilton Holiday, 32, of Demorest, charged with possession of heroin with intent
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and Demorest Police Department assisted with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
