Cleveland man faces meth trafficking charge

White County sheriff’s deputies, following a Wednesday night traffic stop, have charged a Cleveland man with trafficking methamphetamine.

Sheriff Rick Kelley reports that Demetric T. Williams, 32, was in possession of 120 grams of meth, a scale, and a user amount of cocaine.

The arrest followed use of a K-9 unit on the vehicle, which was stopped on U.S. 129 at Everett Drive near the Hall County line.
