Following an autopsy, authorities have released the name of a woman who died in a mobile home fire on East Hall Road earlier this month.

50-year-old Melissa Marie Maynor was pronounced dead at the scene on Thursday, July 7.

According to a press release by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, her body had been transported to the GBI Crime Lab for analysis. The autopsy determined the death was not suspicious and Maynor died as a result of injuries from the fire.

Maynor’s husband was home at the time of the fire and was able to escape without injury.

The Hall County Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the fire.
