The Hall County Library System has recently received a $500 grant from Iconic America, WETA, and PBS to fund a traveling gallery featuring historical photos from the 1936 Gainesville Tornado.
The Friends of the Hall County Library matched the Iconic America grant in order to expand the project.
The gallery will be available for viewing at the Hall County Library’s Downtown Gainesville location at 127 Main St. NW through the end of October.
After that time, the gallery will be available for loan to community groups and organizations.
For more information or to reserve the gallery for display, contact the Gainesville Library Branch Manager at [email protected] or 770-532-3311.
