Georgia's workforce can be thankful for minimal unemployment increases this holiday season.
The states Department of Labor unemployment numbers are out, and all of the regions have reported minimal changes in rates from October.
Labor Commissioner Bruce Thompson's office says the rate was at 3.3 percent in Northeast Georgia in October, just one-tenth of a percent higher than September, along with the number of unemployed down by 427, at 320,689.
Thompson's office adds that the Northeast area also saw the labor force rise in October, compared to a month ago.
