With tournament season about to jump into full swing this weekend, there only a handful of games on Tuesday involving northeast Georgia area teams.
But there are some good matchups despite the limited schedule
Jefferson travels to Hart County with the marquee matchup being the Class 5A fifth-ranked Lady Dragons (8-2) taking on the Class 3A eighth-ranked Lady Bulldogs (7-2).The Jefferson girls won the first meeting, 61-48, in Jefferson.
White County and Union County will play the second of their annual rivalry home-and-home series in Cleveland. The White County girls (10-1) are ranked fifth in the latest Sandy's Spiel rankings. The Lady Warriors beat Union County 62-36 in the first meeting in Blairsville. Neither of the boys are ranked but the Panthers knocked off the Warriors 64-59 in the first meeting.
