The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce announced earlier this week they are continuing their tradition and hosting the 15th annual Chamber Chase 5K run in March.
The run is scheduled to take place on March 23. This year’s run marks the 15th annual Chamber Chase 5K and 2 Mile Wellness Walk at Riverside Preparatory Academy. The 5K will begin at 6 p.m., with the 2-mile walk to follow at 6:10 p.m.
Registration for the event is currently $30, but will increase to $35 after March 19. According to a release from the Chamber, they have a large host of members, family and friends who have signed up, ranging from avid fitness and 5K runners to those who would prefer to participate in the walking portion only.
The Chamber is accepting company signups to promote employee fitness, but you can also register as an individual. Everyone who participates will receive a t-shirt, with additional awards going to the fastest CEO, overall team spirit, individual age awards and the fastest team.
Participating companies can reserve a tent to promote their business. There will be finish line results with race times all delivered electronically and a “design your own company t-shirt” contest as well. The event will also have food, music and other fun activities provided after the race.
