Carroll Daniel Construction Company announced on Friday the acquisition of a structural engineering firm based out of Bethlehem.
Effective March 8, WMD Engineering Consultants will now be known as WMD Engineering, a Division of Carroll Daniel Construction.
“We are excited to be able to offer in-house resources and integrate a deeper level of structural design and analysis services to our clients. We have always been impressed with the level of client-focused service upon which WMD Engineering has built their reputation,” says Brian Daniel, President and CEO of Carroll Daniel Construction. “The acquisition of this firm is a strategic and cultural fit for Carroll Daniel Construction, and one that will allow us to be able to better serve our existing and prospective clients and communities.”
For more than two decades, WMD has specialized in the design and analysis of concrete and steel structures, and serves a client base that includes FedEx, Frito-Lay, Pilgrim’s Pride and Cinelease Studios.
Company officials said WMD plans to continue serving all current clients and projects, while also using its new ownership to actively grow its porfolio.
Founded in Gainesville in 1946, Carroll Daniel is a commercial construction services firm that now has offices in Gainesville, Atlanta and Greenville, South Carolina.
