Missing Gwinnett Co. woman found safe

The Duluth Police Department said just after 3 p.m. Sunday that Deceuninck had been found, and that the Mattie's Call issued by the department had been rescinded.

No other information was given regarding Deceuninck's safe recovery.

A Mattie's Call was issued Sunday afternoon for a missing Duluth woman who suffers from dementia.

Sharon T. Deceuninck, 75, was last seen around 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the Country Gardens assisted living facility on Duluth Park Lane.

The Duluth Police Department describes Deceuninck as a white female who stands 5'4" tall and weighs 180 lbs. She has long straight blonde hair and green eyes.

Deceuninck was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, blue jeans, yellow socks and brown sandals. She was also wearing glasses at the time.

Anyone with information regarding Deceuninck's location is asked to call 911, or contact Duluth Police at 770-476-4151.
