No injuries were reported after a kitchen fire Friday afternoon at a home in White County.
According to a press release from White County Fire Services, crews responded to the residential fire in the area of Kellum Valley Road after receiving a call from the residents.
Arriving crews found a modular home with a fire contained to the kitchen area.
White County firefighters, with help from crews with the Cleveland Fire Department, were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to the rest of the home.
Fire personnel stayed on the scene throughout the afternoon to prevent the reignition of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Georgia Fire Marshal's Office.
