A second wreck in Habersham County Tuesday leaves one child with serious injuries and another person hurt.

A release from the Habersham County Sheriff's Office said the wreck occurred on Ga. 365 at Alto-Mud Creek Road when a Kia Soul struck the rear of a tractor-trailer truck carrying logs.

An 8-year-old passenger in the car from Hall County was airlifted from the scene to Atlanta's Eggleston Hospital with suspected serious injuries while the car's driver was rushed by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the exact cause for the crash.

Another crash earlier on State Route 115 in Habersham County claimed the lives of two people.
