Two women sought by police after allegedly stealing from Mall of Georgia store

Gwinnett County authorities are asking for the public's help identifying two women accused of stealing several thousand dollars worth of merchandise from a local store.

"On May 3, both females were seen on surveillance camera entering the Palmetto Moon, concealing merchandise, and leaving without paying," the Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) said in a Friday media release.

The women, who police said are Black, are accused of stealing merchandise worth around $3,500 from the store, which is located inside the Mall of Georgia in Buford.

One suspect is described as being in her early 20's, with long black hair and black eyeglasses. She was wearing a red sweatshirt, light blue jeans and white shoes

The other suspect was also said to be in her early 20's, and had long back and red cornrows. She was wearing a red sweatsuit with white lettering and black flip flops.
