A three-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon in Hollywood sent multiple people to the hospital and one victim required an airlift.
At approximately 1:20 p.m. Sunday, a three-vehicle wreck occurred in Hollywood along Talmadge Drive at Expressway 441 in Habersham County. Georgia State Patrol Post 7 from Toccoa responded, along with the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team.
One victim involved in the wreck was required to be airlifted to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by AirLife Georgia 2. Several other victims were taken to the hospital via ambulances with Habersham County Emergency Services.
Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and Tallulah Falls Police also responded to the incident, assisting with traffic control while crews cleaned up. The road was reopened again at 3:54 p.m., according to Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore.
More details are yet to be released by the Georgia State Patrol.
