The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested a Towns County man on Wednesday for allegedly possessing child pornography.
A press release from the GBI said the arrest of Dawson Denmark, 21, came after receiving a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as to the possible possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
The online tip led to a search of Denmark's home, he was then arrested and charged with nine counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children.
The GBI credited the Towns County Sheriff’s Office, the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for their assistance.
