A suspicious vehicle sitting in someone’s driveway Saturday prompted the homeowner to call 911.

A Hall County resident saw an unknown vehicle in their driveway in the 4000 block of Red Oak Drive Saturday morning. After confirming they did not know the identity of the man sitting in the suspicious vehicle, they called deputies, who responded at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, the man in the suspicious vehicle was identified as William Richard Gable, 40, of Gainesville. Police confirmed Gable had an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

During the course of the investigation, deputies found Gable in possession of 30 grams of methamphetamine, eight hydrocodone pills, six alprazolam pills and an undisclosed amount of LSD.

Gable was reportedly arrested without incident. He has been charged with four felonies, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a schedule IV drug (alprazolam) and possession of a schedule I drug (LSD), according to HCSO officials.

Gable remained in the Hall County Jail, being held without bond, as of the last report.
