CANTON, Ga. – A touchdown late into the fourth quarter gave Creekview a 24-21 win over North Forsyth Friday night.
Creekview jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead midway through the first quarter, but Brady Holbrook answered the bell late in the period with a 6-yard pass to trim the lead down to three.
After Creekview stretched the lead back out to 10 early in the second quarter, Eli Seaney reeled off a 56-yard rushing score to get to a 17-14 halftime score. Seaney had another long touchdown run of 82 yards early in the third to give the Raiders their first lead of the game at 21-17.
Creekview got the last laugh, though, as they put together a drive culminating in a 1-yard run with 5:10 left, and the Raiders couldn't answer.
Seaney finished the night with 191 yards on eight carries.
The Raiders will open 8-6A play next week at home against Jackson County.
