Commerce police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Holiday Credit loan agency Friday morning and escaped on a bicycle.
The incident took place at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday morning at the Holiday Credit location on Broad Street in Commerce. The suspect was reportedly armed with a handgun at the time of the robbery.
The male is described by authorities as being dressed in all black and wearing a mask and gray gloves. After robbing the loan agency, the suspect escaped on a bicycle and was last seen traveling down Hill Street, away from the downtown area.
It is currently unknown if the handgun was used during the incident, or how much money the suspect escaped with.
