The Hall County School District (HCSD) is set to open in-district transfer request applications for the 2025-2026 school year.
The application period is Nov. 1 to Dec. 13.
Parents and guardians in the Hall County School District can request to have their child transferred to another school within the district as long as there is available space.
If approved, the parent or guardian must provide transportation to and from the transfer school.
HCSD tells parents to go to their information page here to complete the Google form when it goes live Thursday afternoon.
They also instruct parents or guardians to check their addresses with the school attendance map found here to confirm their address is in the Hall County School District. If it is not, parents or guardians can still apply through the out-of-district (tuition) application process opening on March 1.
Rising kindergarten students have a separate application process opening in March.
Parents will be notified for grade 1st-12th applications by Feb 13, 2025.
