Gainesville man accused of rape and sexual battery fails to appear in court

A Gainesville man is wanted by Hall County officials for failing to appear for an October 28 court date on multiple March 2022 allegations of rape and sexual battery.

Hall County Sheriff's Office's, "Wanted Wednesday" social media post on October 30 included the image of now 24-year old Miguel Angel Lopez.  He was charged in March of 2022 behind allegations of  assaulting a juvenile victim multiple times between October 2019 and December 2019, in more than one Hall County location. Lopez is now wanted as a fugitive from Hall County.  Anyone with further leads is asked to contact Hall County Sheriff's detectives at (770) 531-6907.
