Incumbent Republican Rich McCormick is the projected winner of Georgia’s 7th Congressional District.
As of 8:40 p.m., the Associated Press called the race.
McCormick currently leads Democrat challenger Bob Christian 65-percent to 35-percent with 79-percent of the vote in.
Georgia’s 7th Congressional District consists of western Hall County, Forsyth, Dawson, Lumpkin, and north Fulton counties.
