A Clermont man was arrested last Thursday after allegedly sending a series of threatening messages to a male victim.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) spokesperson B.J. Williams said the victim and 41-year-old Jonathon William Kindle knew each other.

“This actually started unfolding a couple of weeks ago,” Williams said. “They do know one another … and have been acquainted for some time.”

Kindle was initially charged with stalking and terroristic threats and acts.

Afterwards, an investigator determined Kindle reportedly fired 19 shots at the victim’s home on Bogus Road Wednesday night while two other people were there.

After that, Kinde was served additional felony warrants for aggravated assault and criminal damage to property.

“He did turn himself in,” Williams said. “He turned himself in at the jail on the other charges and at this point he’s being held without any bond.”

No one was injured during the incident.

41-year-old Jonathon William Kindle was arrested last Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 for allegedly firing multiple rounds at a victim's house and sending threatening messages.
