A Dahlonega man was arrested last week on a list of drug charges.

The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office announced Thursday that Kevin Wayne Oliver, age 43, was arrested on December 6. He was initially arrested for an outstanding warrant, but during a search of his home, investigators reportedly discovered various illegal drugs.

"Law enforcement found and seized more than 150 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and approximately 4 ounces of suspected marijuana," the release said.

Oliver is facing charges of trafficking methamphetamine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was booked into the Lumpkin County Detention Center.
