A Buford woman was arrested earlier this week after two dozen dogs were found in what authorities described as unsanitary conditions.
Hall County Animal Services released information Friday saying they received a tip about the animals' condition and searched the home on Whispering Pines in Buford Wednesday.
"Upon entry, officers found 24 dogs and several violations, including poor sanitation and lack of space," animal services officials said.
The dogs were removed from the home. The next day, Jennifer Sue Gibbons, age 47, was arrested on 24 charges of cruelty to animals.
As of Friday afternoon, Gibbons remained in the Hall County Jail on more than $57,000 bond.
