A Gainesville man was arrested Friday after authorities said they found him in possession of child sexual abuse materials.
Hall County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson B.J. Williams said they received a cybertip in late July about the online activity of William Landrum English, age 23, and searched his home on Wellington Avenue in the northwest part of the county.
"Mr. English was in possession of a video of an adult woman who was involved in sexual activity with a minor male victim," Williams said. "Mr. English also shared this video on his Snapchat account."
English was arrested on charges of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials. As of Friday afternoon, Williams said he remained in the Hall County Jail without bond.
"It is possible that additional charges will be filed against Mr. English once electronic devices that were seized from his residence during a search warrant are reviewed," Williams said.
Williams said the adult woman depicted in the video has not been identified, but investigators do not believe the video was produced locally.
