Polls are now closed across Georgia for the 2024 primary elections.
There are several contested races across Northeast Georgia. Highlighting the list are a Republican primary for State Senate District 49 between Josh Clark and Drew Echols, five local sheriff's primaries in Hall, Jackson, Lumpkin, Towns, and White counties, and a vote to potentially create a new city in northeast Gwinnett County.
