Hall County Landfill to close on June 1 for railroad work

The Hall County Landfill will be closed on Saturday, Jun. 1 for essential work on the CSX railroad crossing at Oakbrook Drive. 

Hall County officials said the temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the safe and efficient maintenance of the railroad infrastructure.

Additionally, on Thursday, May 30 and Monday, Jun. 10 through Tuesday, Jun. 11 the Gould Lane Compactor Site will be closed for resurfacing.

All Hall County compactor sites will remain open for normal operation while the landfill is closed.
