The Gwinnett County Police Department has identified the victim in the fatal shooting in Norcross on July 15 as Gerardo Reyes-Fentanes, 38.

Gwinnett County Police have arrested a Norcross man in connection with the murder of a man in that city Sunday night, July 14.
Police say 20-year old Ernesto Garcia Bailon of Norcross, charging him with aggravated assault, felony murder, and malice murder. Garcia-Bailon is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond, as of last report. Investigators have not released the name of the shooting victim, as they are still working to notify the next of kin.

A Sunday night shooting in Norcross left one man dead.
The Gwinnett County Police Department was called to the scene on Jimmy Carter Blvd. just south of Rockbridge Rd. at 9 p.m. where officers arrived to find the male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers reportedly attempted to render lifesaving aid, but the victim succumbed to his injuries.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was shot by one suspect near a wooded area behind the location officers responded to.
