The Georgia Department of Transportation will close one lane of I-85 northbound between US 441 and State Route 63 in Banks County for concrete slab replacement.
GDOT said the right lane and shoulder will be closed beginning on Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
The work will take place through August.
Delays are expected in the area and drivers should consider alternate routes.
